December News and 2024 Plans

I can’t quite believe it’s nearly the end of 2023 and I am going to start with a massive thank you for all your support throughout this year.  There has been a lot of new treatments, new products and increased hours that you have supported and are now repeating, so thank you so much for loving the additions as much as I do.

I am super excited to tell you about my plans for 2024, but is still some unawareness of the many treatments I offer at Home of Beauty alongside of Permanent Makeup, so I have sectioned this Bulletin to match the menu categories that I now offer along with the plans I have for 2024 and links to be able to book online.

I have a few remaining slots for December if you were trying to get your nails done, or you just needed some time out to recharge with a relaxing facial with all the preparation of Christmas going on, the time and dates will be in the first section of this Bulletin along with an online booking link.

COMING IN 2024

In August 2023 I launched Media8 at Home of Beauty and I could never have imagined how successful this would have been.  The Skin Peels have been the most popular choice and Facials for ongoing maintenance, both loved by so many of you.  Alongside of Media8 I offer a range of Dermaplaning options that have also been a popular skin maintenance treatment, so it seemed a natural progression to introduce further aesthetic procedures and skin enhancing options.

ULTRASONIC SKIN SPATULA
This clever little tool will be part of a facial targeted for clients with problematic skin, blackhead issues, congested or dry flaky skin and generally skin that needs a deep cleansing treatment.  Using ultrasonic sound waves and high frequency vibrations loosen up sebum, dead skin cells, dirt and grim from the pores creating a blank canvas and a clean slate of skin ready to drink up nutrients from your favourite skincare products.

MICRONEEDLING 
This has been on my ‘to do’ list for some months, but trying to juggle life and two salons has delayed this a little, but spring 2024 this will be available at Home of Beauty.

As I have said before, I am a big fan of this treatment and whilst it is not a relaxing procedure it is not on the scale of ‘pain’ just a little uncomfortable, but I look any it the same way I do exercise. Before I get more muscle, my muscles hurt a little a bit after a workout and before I get beautiful glowy skin my facial may sting a little bit.

The idea behind micro needling is to help your skin build more collagen. This is done by penetrating the skin with tiny needles known as micro channels and your skin reacts to that by repairing itself and that boosts collagen production. It’s effective in treating acne or stretch mark scars, pigmentation or wrinkles and overall results in healthier, more even-looking skin.

LAST MONTHS TRANSFORMATIONS

Permanent Makeup is what Home of Beauty involved from and I am very blessed that a week never goes by without a new or regular clients in for one of these procedures. My clients have described their Permanent Makeup as life changing which is the biggest compliment I could ever wish for.  Patients, time and listening to exactly what expectations are, keeps my diary busy with recommendations and regulars and here are a few images from my last months work.
