Dear All,

Firstly, I hope you’re all well.

I has been lovely seeing so many of you throughout September, there has also been so many new faces with thanks to your recommendations.

To summarise this month…

October will be seeing a few changes to the treatment menu to make things more flexible for your visits. From the 1st October I will be renaming the Add-On menu to the Beauty Essentials menu that will be available with no restrictions for your Brow, Lash and Wax maintenance appointments.

Over the previous months many of you have wanted to pay for your treatments in cash and up until now I have only taken card payments, but from 1st October you are welcome to pay by cash or card, but Permanent Makeup will remain as bank transfer.

With so many Peel Courses in the diary and questions about Peels and Micro-Needling, I have done a section in this months bulletin for ‘Peels vs Micro-Needling’ that I hope will help you make up your mind about the best winter ‘pick me up’ to choose for your skin, and if you’re still unsure I am always at the end of an email or message.

The new season brings new colours and there are an additional 15 colours joining the Home of Beauty current wardrobe of colour choice.

Finally I will be touching on the plans I have for 2025 in this bulletin. After the success of the new treatments and procedures added to the menu this year, it is clear to me that a variety of Beauty and Aesthetic treatments are what you love and introducing new procedures that will compliment both is definitely the plan for 2025.

Have a fabulous October and I look forward to seeing you soon.

Peels vs Micro-Needling

I have had so many calls and emails over the last month asking what you should book now there are a few more options available on the treatment menu. ‘Do you book a course of Peels?’ ‘Do you book a course of Micro-Needling?’ Well these two treatments are both facial treatments that can treat similar conditions, but they work in very different ways and have different effects:

Micro-Needling

Sometimes known as Collagen-Induction Therapy, creates micro-injuries in the skin to stimulate collagen production and improve skin elasticity. It can help with:

  • Reducing the appearance of scars, including some acne scaring.
  • Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Reduces enlarged pores.
  • Reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation or dark spots.
  • Reduces uneven skin tone.

Chemical Peels

This treatment involves applying acids to the skin to exfoliate and rejuvenate. It can help with:

  • Improving the skins colour, clarity, tone and texture.
  • Stimulate new collagen and healthier skin cell growth.
  • Reduces discolouration caused by sun damage.
  • Helps to clear up breakouts.
  • Smoothes away the look of fine lines and wrinkles.

During consultations I do explain that Chemical Peels generally are better for surface damage, while Micro-Needling can penetrate deeper to treat more troublesome issues. For wrinkles, many people find the combination of Micro-Needling and Chemical Peels gives the best results.

New Colours for a New Season

The new shelf is up and some of the new nails colours will be added this week in Gel and Normal Polish. There are deep reds, burnt oranges and lots of fabulous rich shades to choose from and all are available to purchase in a normal polish should you have your favourite touch up at home.

Flexible Beauty Essentials

I am thrilled to finally be able to offer you all of your maintenance without any restrictions, so your brows, lacials and facial waxing can now be found under Beauty Essentials on the treatment menu and you can either add something to another treatment or visit for an essential on its own.

Plans for 2025

There are four things on my business plan for 2025:

  • Hybrid Brows with Lamination
  • Fillmed treatments for the neck and eyes
  • Hydra Facial
  • TCA Peels

Like all good planning, these new treatments will be scheduled throughout the year starting with the most exciting for me as it can be experienced on its own or alongside of many other visits to Home of Beauty.

Coming February 2025

Fillmed

Fillmed is unlike hyaluronic acid injectable treatments, the Fillmed treatment doesn’t just hydrate the skin, it regenerates skin cells, whereas other hyaluronic treatments ultimate result is to hydrate. Fillmed products correct the signs of ageing and improve skin quality with immediate results.

Tiny injections into the upper-dermis will be inserted into the skin, with the revitalising solution of NCTF comprising of hyluronic acid and 59 active ingredients (vitamins, amino-acids, antioxidants). Using the very precise and safe NANOSOFTTM needle, will reduce the risk of bruising and minimise pain during the injections. Combining NCTF and NANOSOFTTM will not only target the sensitive area of your face and neck with delivavy, but also provide optimal results in less time.

I have always said that Home of Beauty would leave injectable to the doctors and experts, but with the Nanosoft Needles that penetrate the upper layers of the dermis being much kinder and Fillmed offering such fantastic results for those delicate areas of your face and neck, it was an easy decision for me. I have already experienced this treatment and I highly recommend it and why it will be on the treatment menu at Home of Beauty in 2025.

Diary Open Through to the End of 2024

Most of December is now booked, but there are still mid-month spaces and a few odd appointments left for Christmas week, but if you’re normally someone that books last minute this is the one time of the year that there is never last minute spaces as there is always a waitlist that will be prioritised.
