Dear all,
I can’t get my head around the fact that it’s September, the evenings are already starting to draw in and there is definitely a chill in the air, so my mind is forced to start to think of the coming months and the rest of 2024, but first of all I wanted to send out the biggest thank you for a very busy August. I saw many of my regular faces along with some new and my diary continues to get busier every single month.
So what do we have to look forward to for September? …Well it is already looking busy, so if you haven’t got your usual appointment scheduled in, this is your prompt and for those of you that like to wait for my ‘Midweek Mail‘ I will continue to send out any late availability for the coming weeks… I have included next weeks availability in this bulletin as there are just two days with space that may just work for you.
The important news is that I have opened the diary through to the end of the year and already the days running up to Christmas are full, so if you can be organised I would encourage you to book now. I am really looking forward to my first festive season as Home of Beauty and I have decided to work Christmas Eve until 3pm, but whilst I am doing a little extra to get everyone seen, I will be taking four days off from Christmas Day and a couple of days for New Year. There are links throughout this bulletin for you to get your bookings in.
I start my ‘Midweek-Minutes‘ from the 4th September, but you will need to read on for the details of this weekly feature and I have also dedicated a section in this months bulletin to treatments that are deffinitely better to get done in the coming winter months.
Finally, I will be making some changes to the flexibility of Add-Ons later this year, for the time being you are only able to book an add-on with another menu treatment or a minimum of two add-ons in one appointment, but with my diary consistently getting busier since March, I will be looking forward to offering all treatments on my Home of Beauty menu without any restrictions.

Midweek Minutes
I am so pleased to introduce you to my Mid-Week Minutes.
I am often told that I should put a face to Home of Beauty but this sort of thing has always been way out of my comfort zone, although after talking to many of you and hearing your thoughts about a weekly few minutes chatting to you directly, you have given me the confidence and drive to make this happen.
Starting from the 4th September I will be chatting to you for no longer than a few minutes each week about products I love in and out of Home of Beauty. I will sometimes talk about a lifestyle choice, a makeup product or even on of Nigel’s amazing healthy recipes that he supports me with each week. The general idea is that beauty goes far and beyond skincare products and treatments and the amount of times I get asked about makeup, exercise, diet, restaurants and much more, I thought it would be a great idea to be able to talk to you about something each week that I am passionate about… there is a long list!
I am looking forward to any feedback or thoughts on what you would like covered and throughout the month there will be the opportunity of putting forward any questions that I can then cover one week… you always come up with the best ideas for me, but in the meantime, I hope you enjoy the weekly chat.
Medik 8 Facial Peels
With less UV light the Autumn is the perfect time for your annual or first course of Facial Peels. A course will mean every 2 – 3 weeks your skin has been treated and string UV light should be kept to a minimum, so this time of year is ideal to give your skin a boost of resurfacing and brightening after the summer months, without the worry of any strong, harmful UV rays getting at your fresh newly treated skin.
Like Permanent Makeup, Medik8 Facial Peels can be booked online and I would strongly recommend booking all of your course dates to avoid any one session delay. I always give my skin a boost at this time of year and find that 5 over 10 – 12 week period is just about right.
Autumn and Winter means less strength in UV light and therefore the perfect time of the year for certain treatments, it doesn’t mean that you can’t have procedures done throughout other seasons in the year, it just means that you don’t need to be so careful with direct sunlight.
Permanent Makeup is one of those treatments best done in the winter, bookings are already in the diary as far ahead as January 2025 as regulars know that the winter is really the preferable time to get their Colour Boost done. I fyou are due a colour boost or you have been thinking of having permanent makeup done for your eyes or brows, you can book online up to the end of 2025.

Other than Specialised Skin Treatments, Facials and Permanent Makeup, Home of Beauty offers many other services and whilst much is available without restriction, Add-Ons have always been restricted to a minimum of two in one appointment, or need to be added to another menu treatment.

Before the end of 2024 I will be changing this and offering my complete menu without restrictions, but there is quite a bit of work to do behind the scenes before this can happen. So, keep an eye on social media and the next few bulletins and I will announce when this will be available.
Thank you for your patience and understanding of this restriction since March and thanks to your amazing support of Home of Beauty, I will be able to remove this restriction way ahead of when I anticipated.

The diary is open through to the end of 2024, so please BOOK NOW for anything in December as this month is already filling up and remember treatments that are best completed at this time of year, like your annual course of Peels or a Permanent Makeup Colour Boost are best booked in advance.
